Blossom.

Sunshine helps, but not really.

The daisies just call out to be made into daisy chains.

The grass calls out for another day with the picnic blanket.

Distraction helps, but it just means deadlines drift closer.

The days are made into weeks.

The weeks become months.

Time outdoors helps, so why does it feel so much like being trapped indoors did before.

The trees cry out for us to watch the light filter through its branches.

The paths have one too few shadow.

What if watching the blossoms fall without you leads to watching the leaves fall without you?
